The social organization of Aurloks is characterized by spontaneous complementarity of individuals in the roles. Everyone naturally takes the place that seems to him to be his in society. Various factors partly influence this choice, such as age and gender, membership clan or tribe to which he belongs.

Tribes

A tribe is a group of daily living Aurloks in community under the direction of a leader, the sachem. Usually composed of about fifty people from different clans, a nomadic tribe in the vast majority of cases: it follows the migration of game. The functions of each can vary from one tribe to another, but there are certain stances. The males hunt and carry the disassembled yurts, females protect children while assuming the collection and crafts, basketry and weaving their being strictly reserved elsewhere, and old, regardless of their sex, s’ involved in the education of children.
The sachem is responsible for the emergence and establishment of the camp, as well as the general organization of the tribe. Choosing the sachem depends on each tribe.
In most cases, a Aurlok born, lives and dies within the same tribe. Sometimes, however, it changes tribe to join a loved one or a friend, but this is exceptional.

Powwows occur when paths cross several tribes: the camps are then established for at least one sunset and a sunrise and a big party then occurs. Each tells the other what he saw and what he has learned recently, the sachems confer and discuss at length while the festivities are in full swing: a hearty meal, songs and ritual dances, and even furtive and fleeting romances, which will be not less fertile. When the powwow ends, each gets his way.

Seven tribes are distinguished from others because they are larger: composed of a hundred people or more, they may assume a special role.

Clans

The Aurloks clan of Auroch are yurts for Migration, with the assistance of bouraks: docile and bony cattle are the only beasts of burden of the people. Their physical strength is also appreciated when it comes back from hunting of large jacks. They have a natural talent for music has no sense of rhythm … or stamina to pound a drum for hours.
The Aurloks Toad Clan have a natural affinity with the plants, which makes them good gatherers and good trainers. With their prodigious memory, they play a major role in perpetuating the oral tradition and the preservation of the route of the tribe.
The Aurloks Wolf, both quick, intuitive, strong and discreet, are usually among the best hunters. They also seem to have a special closeness to the world of spirits and come most often vaguely feel the presence of mind, allowing them to ensure a very difficult role in the protection of the tribe, and the support for funeral rites.

The council Selenite

All six Selenes, the four councils of the Elders meet: the selenite Council, where the clans discuss the circumstances of the Aurlok nation and the state of relations with the other peoples of Mornea. We call it
one who will be responsible for leading the people to the next Council: the Edoda Elohino Father of the Earth. This can be a new or even old, whose mandate is renewed.
It can take decisions without the consent of the Council, but very few have the madness to do so. For three councils, the people Aurlok guide is a member of the Wolf Clan: Wacanitse Vif Ghost, known for his honesty and his sense of justice and benefiting from a strong reputation tactician.
Because of the importance of this event, many tribes converge towards the place of selenite Council: though only board members participate in the Council of Elders, the meeting gave rise to an extensive powwow that always lasts several days .

The rite of passage to adulthood

A Aurlok becomes brave when he leaves childhood and enters the adult world. This crossing is concretely translated by imayeto: the child spends Lunar accompanied by a shaman who teaches him to listen to the world and responds to her questions. This period continues until a particular event comes to end it: during the night when a vision quest, the child had a dream which then reveals to him his place in the world and it wakes by having an intuitive awareness of what to do now. The Aurlok is ready to become an adult. It remains for him to choose his brave name out there and the child. It is then up to him the task of looking for a spouse and woo her through an object he crafted during his imayeto: male confectionnent a spear they offer to their promised to ask for her hand, the Females weave a dress they will wear to accept such a request.
